"Deep Dive Service" Divers Charles Smith, left, and Dan Hoy rise out of the water at Powderhorn Park after placing GPS locators on pipes for aeration, intake and discharge. Winter ice tends to be thinner at these points and GPS tracking will allow park staff to know where to place warning markers. Smith and Hoy were with Long Lake-based Waterfront Restoration.

"A Steep Climb" On the other side of the top of the steps is a man not wanting to be photographed, lifting a big basket of trash with one hand into the dumpster while holding a white pup in the other.
