"Garden Gnome" The garden next to May Day Cafe had a real live gnome this morning. Peregrine's older siblings have been featured by various P365 photographers over the years, and his mother was a daily photographer in 2013, so it's fitting that he was found by my lens.
"Pear Man" Hassan Rostankhami offered me a pear fresh off his pear tree when I walked by his house on East 33rd St and 17th Ave South. He uses a homemade device that carefully twists a pear right off the branch, no matter how high it may be in the tree. I walked away with three pears and a new friend.
"Hello Neighbor!" Neighbors introduce each other while enjoying a meal together at the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood association's annual gathering. The annual gathering allowed for neighbors to come together, listen to new developments and vote on board members for the upcoming year, as well as share food from Marla's Caribbean Cuisine and La Loma Tamales.
