Located at 1511 East Lake Street, the Lopez brothers’ restaurant has been supplying East Lake Street and Powderhorn with Jalisco-style Mexican fare since 2005.
"A pastor's paintbrush" Pastor Allen Phipps applied primer to the white areas of his church's sign to brighten it up. Phipps first arrived at Hope Temple Foursquare Church at the corner of East 35th Street and 17th Avenue South in 1978 to be the youth pastor and became the main pastor a few years later. In addition to taking care of his congregation who also helps take care of their place of worship. "I do like to paint and I don't know why," Phipps chuckled about how he was spending his Monday. "I'm hoping the sign can last a little longer."
