“Tiny Diner Workshop” A 94 degree day didn’t keep 60+ people from attending an incredibly insightful workshop titled “Weed Identification: The Good, the Bad and the Beneficial.” The team of four instructors has been a part of Tiny Diner's garden along with the Meridian Garden, located on 38th and 12th Ave. since before the doors of Tiny Diner opened. Their wealth of information is so vast, it made me realize that even weeds hold the universal truth—to be mindful of your perception between "good and bad.” The benefits of weeds far out number the notion of being a nuisance—what an eye opener! Due to popular interest, this class will be held again in August.
"Runner Steals Second" A runner attempts to steal second base during an early afternoon rec league game at Powderhorn Park. After a valiant effort of avoiding the tag by the first and second basemen, he slipped up and was called out.
"So where'd you park?"
