"Puppies in the Morning" Thought I would get a quick and easy photo of the puppies that my neighbors are fostering. Turns out frisky puppies are really hard to photograph, especially when they've just woken up! Here they are saying good morning to their momma. Tonja and her family are fostering the puppies until Wednesday, when they will be fully weaned and available for adoption through secondhandhounds.org! Their names are Snow, Emmet, Midnight (pictured, front), Willow (pictured, center), and Copper (pictured, rear).
On a gloomy Easter Sunday, with most of the city shut down for the day, I came across an odd site: car repair taking place in the middle of the road at Bloomington and Lake. No one seemed to care or even notice, and even the vehicle's owner didn't seem to be in the immediate vicinity as I passed by.
"Frozen North" Saturday afternoon I stumbled upon an enthusiastic group of people, called Frozen North, playing Dagorhir Battle Games in Powderhorn Park. Dagorhir is founded from an appreciation for Medieval history and Tolkien's Lord of Rings by combining fast-paced full-contact combat simulation with elements of live action role-playing. This group normally meets at Powderhorn Park every Sunday at 1pm and welcomes new members! Check out http://frozennorthmn.weebly.com/ or the "Frozen North" facebook group for more information.
