"Roots" One aspect of Powderhorn that I have loved is how people embrace the natural world influencing the spaces. Although a crumbling retaining wall might be seen by some as "not neat" or "needing fixing," nature created a ton of beautiful shapes and textures that we would miss, if we always kept "neat" corners.
“Smoke in the Pit” Shown here are Aaliyah, Dwight Alexander (owner), Lil’ Dwight and Tony, who create some of the best barbeque in the Twin Cities. Their establishment is located at 3733 Chicago Avenue South.
"Three large wooly dogs" One of the most prominent aspects of Powderhorn Park is the constant interaction of the neighborhood's dogs and their owners. Here at this confab of three dogs, all of them seem well-matched, and even tempered. A pleasant and typical grouping of people and their dogs.
