"Woman with Pears, aka. Selfie" A former neighbor handed me a few pears that he had just harvested from his tree as I walked passed. Since I have recently moved out of the neighborhood, I thought my selfie for the year should have some remnants of my past connections.
“Found” – Powderhorn Lake is a good place to feed ducks and to look for whatever can be found.
"Skeletal dogs at play" With Halloween coming, there are several novel displays cropping up on people's lawns in Powderhorn, including this one along 35th st. near Bloomington Ave. I like the way the dogs are still actively play-fighting for that stick, even though they seem to be ghostly Halloween dogs. One has a tennis ball, just like the live versions of his kind, everywhere each day. Notice how the large one has his leash tied to the bush. The strange black demons nearby on the lawn seem not to mind co-existing this special time of year.
