“Service Bay” at Clyde’s Auto Service. Clyde Varner, a veteran who served in the South Pacific during WWII, established his business in 1947 and later moved it to the Powderhorn Neighborhood in 1959. Brian Varner eventually took over the garage from his father. He’s been cranking on bolts since the age of 10.
