"Squirrel on a garage roof" Fall is almost over and the skies have turned gloomy today. The tree is missing most of its leaves already, revealing more of the pole's wires than usual. There's a fat squirrel sitting right on the peak, getting ready for winter in the best way he knows how. Eating.

"Powderhorn Resident" Jacek (Pronounced y AA t - z eh k) originally moved from Warsaw, Poland to New York City, then to Iowa. He spend a long time in Iowa before moving to Minneapolis. As he explained to me how he lived in another part of Powderhorn Park, then moved to uptown, then moved back into Powderhorn Park, I asked him how he liked our neighborhood. "Ohh it's so much nicer here!" he exclaimed. "Now that I've lived in uptown, and here, you couldn't pay me to live in uptown." When I asked why he liked Powderhorn Park so much he said "you know, the closer you get to the city, the busier it gets. I like the city, but not so much of it. I would never live in the suburbs. But this reminds me of my childhood in Warsaw."
