"The Moon and Jupiter, in the Ash Tree" I leaned myself and camera, sans tri-pod, against the front yard lamp-post (on this excruciatingly frozen night) and captured this somewhat frosty portrait of our moon and Jupiter caught in the branches of the city-planted ash tree on the boulevard. It seems to express the bleariness of our weariness, with the frigidness of a too-long winter. Upon close examination, you may detect three of Jupiter's moons trailing off downward and to the right of the planet (even through the branches of the tree!). Let us give thanks to the planet Jupiter, for keeping us safe from wandering asteroids and making a place, such as Powderhorn Neighborhood, not merely star benighted, but possible.
