I was trying out a friend's lensbaby™ and forgot I had it on when I saw these goslings. It gives an interesting effect that is not super noticeable.
"Powderhorn Apartments, 31st and 13th" Happy 31st and 13th Week! A Powderhorn neighbor hadn't seen a picture of their block (31st and 13th) in the 365 Project. To make up for this neglect, the photographers decided to make it 31st and 13th week. In the Powderhorn archives, I did find a picture of this building by Sarah Bagwell (2010) called 31st and 13th.
"Bedding Down for the Night" This white heron, otherwise known as a Great Egret, used the Willow on the Powderhorn Lake island to preen itself before curling in upon itself to sleep. With the cold temperatures in Minneapolis this spring, I haven't seen the flocks of birds like I have in years past. Hopefully, they will come with the warmer temperatures as summer approaches.
