"Joy World Mission Church" Joy World Mission Church was established in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood on 17th Avenue South in 1986 by Liberian Clergymen to provide spiritual support for the growing number of Liberians in Minnesota. The Church currently has a membership of 135.
"start your engines" Lisa, the referee at the bottom of the slope in PoHo Park, holds her flag aloft to signal to the top of the hill that all is clear and the first sled can take off and begin the 3rd annual Art Sled Rally. Even with frigid temperatures, and an icy hill, a large crowd huddled around the hay bales and gathered at a safe distance to enjoy the many participants in today's rally. Even the sleds that broke apart or flipped over revealed beaming faces. Next year, I'm totally making a sled.
