"Powderhorn Portrait" In the yard at 12th and 31st, with a chair we actually found in the yard. Myself and my partner, the novelist Geoff Herbach. We leave in two weeks for Mankato—but the Big Yellow House on the corner will remain in the family.
"Red Kites" I recently noticed this street art on the side of Jim's Roofing, Inc.'s building at 32nd Street and Bloomington Avenue South.
"Love is in the Air" Last week I found about a dozen bullfrogs in the reeds in Powderhorn Lake, it was scandalous! I chose to use my photos of the groundbreaking instead, so this week I wanted to see if I could get another shot of one of the males for my shot today. Success! He vibrated everything around, including my camera--out of the 15 shots I took only 3 were usable because of the vibrations from his song. Please be aware that these amphibians are highly sensitive to your touch--their skin absorbs everything. So please look but leave them where they are; and don't throw anything into the lake. That way they will be out singing in Powderhorn for years to come.
