"Father's Day 2010" I rode my bike past this empty and weathered Adirondack chair on 15th Avenue South this evening. It occurred to me that this was a spot that a father or a grandfather would surely like to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. I would have given anything to have seen one of my grandfathers (both of which are no longer with me) relaxing here, sitting on a small slice of heaven in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood.
"Wasp vs. Moth" Today I came across the horrifying spectacle of a wasp eating a moth alive. I watched as the moth struggled to get away, to no avail. Afterward I had to scrub my lens with photos of happier things.
"Rashad, Dee and Jesse" Rashad, Dee and Jesse are brothers raising money for Jesse's football equipment when he plays for the Powderhorn Eagles Under 11 team this fall. They picked a perfect day to sell their ice-cold refreshments. Jesse is so talented, he plays 7-8 positions on the field. They all like to play basketball and football.
