"Porch Prairie" Local Powderhorn resident and artist, Malia Burkhart, has been painting a mural of the prairie on her front porch over the past few days. She wants her porch to be a representation of what existed in this area before Minneapolis. Many have walked past and commented, or stopped to talk with Malia. One neighbor even expressed, "Your front porch makes my day. Everyday."
