"Clyde's" Clyde's Service, Inc., has been in the same location on 38th Street and 14th Avenue since 1945. Founded by his father, owner Brian Varner started working for the company when he was 10 years old. Brian and his wife contribute both money and time to the neighborhood. Last year they donated over $30,000 to churches and charities in the area as well as helping keep Reuben Lindh's fleet of vans in shape. They are also avid roller skaters (not inline skates, old-school roller skates) so keep an eye out for them at roller rinks and on the paths around the lakes. Here, Brian shows me an email with a picture of his father, Clyde, on a (much deserved) vacation. www.clydesautoservice.com
"a hint" I intend a photo while a meeting with the other PoHo365 photographers this evening, but recent busyness and preoccupations have sometime left me with only traces of my complete self, making this shot seemingly more appropriate. My (almost) self-portrait.
