"Lovely day for painting" Scott Lloyd Anderson, a local oil painter from the Kingfield neighborhood, came to paint in the park. He's painted a number of locations around the twin cities - as well as many others around the country - but today was his first time in Powderhorn. "I like the island," he told me. We also talked a bit about the faltering economy and the dire effects it has on artists. Check out Scott's amazing work at www.scottlloydanderson.com You can see his painting of Powderhorn Pond here.
"Tree Climbing" While climbing a tree Veronica asked to hold my camera, all I could do was surrender.
[Untitled] There is a lot of front yard gardening happening on 16th Avenue. This reflection globe (arguably the best lawn ornament ever) appears between 33rd and 34th. It provides a unique perspective of the surrounding neighborhood, and its encircling garden.
