Janine Malec & volunteers broke apart the body of the old oven to pulverize material for use in new oven, assembled new bricks/kaowool for the oven floor, and then today, built a sand form to make the void space of the oven, mixed cob to build oven body, and sculpt the new turtle shape. It was a great neighborhood project for something that will be enjoyed by many.
