Charity & Nate Wefel are Powderhorn farmers, whose chore today was to cart compost to their community garden across the street. The compost, of course, is supplied by their ducks & chickens who reign the backyard.
Around 6:00 Friday evening, the Powderhorn Park neighborhood was filled with the sound of sirens racing to a fire at the Chicago Furniture Warehouse - just south of the Chicago Ave. transit station.
