"Kalpulli Ketzalcoaticue"
Practicing for May Day - keeping warm in fleece and feathers. This time of year, the park come alive in celebration of spring - the drums, the music, the puppets - such positive energy filling the park.

These three were on their way home from a rehearsal for the parade.

Ketzal Coatlicue (Precious Mother Earth) is a Kalpulli (learning community) of Indigenous people joined by the desire to learn, share and live the tradition of Aztec dance. If you want to learn more, check out their website:
